not safe to eat, arcs break down the chemistry and can create dangerous chemicals
Yes i was about to comment that also, ElectroBoom made a video to that too Totally not safe to eat
Water.......not available?😂
was it supposed to start arcing at the end
❤ 🙂
I wouldn't take it apart till u have the new pump unless u got a new memory 😂😂. In process of doing my pump install now.
Invest in a step stool
I will say everything is right but the psi minimum needs to be 4k
Hey i looked through your videos, im guess theres no part 2?
Great video! If you had put the 7 pin connector in the opposite end of the pelican from the battery you would have had plenty of room for the switches… Love what you did.
I cannot figure out why my lights don't all work when I set up indicator lights
Can you explain what you mean? Are the LED’s 12 volt safe? A lot of LED’s are 3volts only they might not like 12 volts
It’s simple, REWIRE EVERYTHING😊
I live in medford long island New York nice joob
look into curb guards expensive but should help that
Where did you get that remote?
We just did the same thing to our 8611. For the wings we ended up drilling tapping the blade so that there was no bit or bolt on the back side. So far so good but still haven’t had much of a season at all yet
Grill lights and visor lights definitely
Think you just sold me on the snowex. Extremely frustrated with the western I have… never gets to pavement. Starting to fall apart after one year of use, busting welds and moldboard warp
they are owned by the same company
@@MartinbrothersOutdoorServices I fully understand, but with down pressure. I’ve got no issue having to reinforce my welds.
How did the Winter Equipment Xtendor Guards work out? We also run SnowEx.
So far so good, unfortunately, we didn’t have a very busy season after these were installed one of our worst seasons in the last 11 years. Hopefully, I will have some more data this weekend. They are barely starting to wear in at the moment.
@@JoeBarronTV I hear you. February is usually our biggest snowfall month. But last year we barely had an ice event the first week of February and nothing after that. We still had okay revenue with salting applications in Dec and Jan.
I know this is an old video, but how and where did you get the wires into the cabin?
Best spot is the vents on the back of the cab, (if your going to put the brain under or behind the back seat) I used the vents rather than the firewall because I wanted the output brain under the backseat…
@@JoeBarronTV thank you I thought about that but didn’t know if it would work.
@@Jason_Shelby77 yeah it’s a real common spot amongst the upfitter community
@@JoeBarronTV, sorry more questions, how did you get access to the vent? Remove the Bed?
@@Jason_Shelby77 nope from the outside it’s accessible to reach between Only thing you will need to do inside the cab is is carefully cut some of the cabin insulation between the seat and back wall to reveal the vent from the inside. Once you cut the insulation I usually use a fish tape to pull the wires in
Muchas Felicidades Joven Por Su Canal. Saludos Cordiales Desde Mazatlán, Sinaloa, México. ..
This is by far the cleanest built trailer I’ve ever seen. Love the electrical set up done CORRECTLY. Love the dual battery, charging indicator, hydraulics, wireless set up and lights! Looking to do a few of these to my Hull trailer. Good to know about the voltage drop and draining the truck battery
interested in hearing more about the switchbacks and control remote
where and what's price on trailer?
is your milwaukee 12v battery holder a through mount? all I can find online is the flange surface mount. I would like to make mine with the battery installed from the outside rather than open it up. did you order, or have a link or 3d print your own?
Like it! I also built a tester out of a 6x6x4 plastic junction box a few years ago, it runs on shore power and I put in an actual flasher for turn signals. My next iteration will be in a pelican with battery power like this
LED markers delivered, waiting on fuel line for housing. Im going to weld small bolts to the outside of the plow frame along the side to hold the wire/fuel line housing with rubber P clamps. That way i don't have to worry about zip ties breaking in the cold or deterioration. For covers I went with 3/4" pipe insulators for ease of use and only $6 each.
Very good video brother I got a question for you I know this is an old video 2 years ago and I just seen it Joe but is there anyway you could send me a copy of that green trailer electrical wiring or do you know where I can get it at if so would you please let me know I'd really appreciate it thank you sir
This might be... Check that. This is the nicest trailer I've EVER seen. Thanks for sharing!
And one more, it appears you are using both the Tekonsha 118158 and your custom relay scheme at the same time. Why not just use the Tekonsha 118158 box ?
Alright Joe, well done! It is unclear to me - what happens when you first hit the brakes then engage turn signal ? Any difference if first apply turn signal then step on the brake pedal ? Thanks!
Great video - Great Project!!! - any way we can get a copy of the wiring diagram? (Joe from Romeo Michigan) Definitely the best DIY trailer tester that I've come across
Are you flash battery settings touch to ground or +. I have one that is momentary touch to ground and thinking the only way to trigger it is with 4200 controlling a relay to ground. Is this how you did it?
What a freaking nightmare to work on.
I need your help with trailer
Do you have to wire an output to get it backlit? Mine only lights up when I power a button.
So sorry just saw this. Input F is night mode (dim) I usually wire this to headlights Input G is day mode (bright) I wire this to ignition same as input (h)
Where can I get a set of the plans to build?
That's awsome. Nice job on the tester.
Good job on the video and build. Where did you get the project plans from? I'd like to build one.
Very nice set up. I have a schematic for one all set, and I like your layout. I'm going to use it. One request, pretend Elmer J Fudd is explaing to "move the camerwa vwery, vwery, vwery slowly." I get motion sickness when the camera moves around too much, too fast. Again, thank you for sharing an impressive design.
Joe! Thank you for this video. I like the idea of adding a fuse in the tester. That'll have to go in my V2. also Thanks for showing the wiring diagram.
the USA has such a complicated system in Australia we have Turn Signals that are Amber and stops that are Red Running lights that are 1/2 the wattage of the stop lights all wired seperate ,,,, SIMPLE Rob NSW AU
Agree 100%. Crazy thing is my Land Rover has orange turn signals that are separate from brake light circuit, but on the USA spec trailer wiring harness, turn and brake signals are combined into one circuit in the 7 pin trailer plug. It has been proven that separate indicator (amber) and brake lights improve safety by 25% but yet the US has not adopted this. I suppose it is the same as the metric system...
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks. Had a buddies kid throw a temper tantrum and swing my back door open as hard as he could and now it creaks terribly at full extension. Figure it probably needs the hinge rebuilt now.
